WELDER CHANNEL, a manufacturing YouTuber who specializes in welding, uploaded the points of manual welding know-how using a large diameter nozzle. He starts explaining that flushness in the first layer and finishing in the second layer by projecting the bead appearance with uniform height and beautiful burnt color.

For the second layer welding, he recommends a rolling motion that draws a figure 8, but points out that it is difficult to do so with a large-diameter nozzle. And he gives us various advices on what to do and how to do to finishing as great beads.

溶接に特化したモノづくり系ユーチューバー、Welder Channelさんがアップしたのは、大口径ノズルを使った手溶接ノウハウのポイント。高さの揃った、焼け色の綺麗なビード外観を映し出すなどして、1層目でツライチに決め、2層目で仕上げますなどと、説明をスタート。

2層目の溶接では「8」の字を描くローリング動作を推しつつも、大口径ノズルだとそれが難しことも指摘し、ではどうすべきか、いろいろとアドバイスするように説明を加えます。

溶接未経験者には見ても聞いてもまったく分からないかも。ですが経験者だと、なるほどとうなずいてしまうシーンが多いようですね。ちなみにウエルダーチャンネルさんは、動画トップ画面に「溶接オタクの参考動画」という副題をつけていらっしゃいます。
